The climb up had indeed been worth it, as K'roi leaned against the natural guardrail of rock that made up part of the tower. He'd hoped that there was no one present save for the tower guard, and he'd been lucky in finding a time when no one was around. Dusk was settling over the Weyr, the sun almost set, and the sky was a vast array of colors that set the mind and soul ablaze. The view was stunning, with the cove eclipsing as far as the eye could see in both directions and the spear of green that was the foresty and further off wild jungles. If it were possible, the bronzerider could not have been more indisposed to pay attention to the natural beauty with which he was normally so enchanted. His mind was on this current altercation with Neou, and he felt immensly guilty, though there was really nothing he could do for it. With a sigh, he crossed his arms over the rock, and leaned forward enough to rest his chin on them. Perhaps it was all for the better that she get it out of her head and heart to search for his love. He was not like other riders he knew, sleeping with every mate to come their way. His oldfashioned ideas were perhaps reserved for himself, but he tended to pride in them nevertheless.
~You need to not blame yourself. You cannot control the actions and feelings of others my bonded.~
Gareth had a point, the bronzerider had to admit, but that truly didn't help very much.

"Oh! I'm sorry!" Junni grinned shyly from the shadows. "I didn't mean to intrude. I'll leave, if you want to be left alone." She made for the stairs, Erith following her. Who's he? The Jr. Weyrleader. I don't know his name, though I should. Erith turned a blue eye on K'roi, a questioning croon emerging. "She wants to know what is wrong, if anything. She's nosey, so you don't have to tell me anything at all." But he can tell me. You little nosey hatchling. Erith gave a disbeliving snort at the accusion.

The apearance of one of the newly impressed weyrlings was only slightly surprising to him, and he turned from his remorse to look at the girl. "Ah, no, don't worry about it. I don't really need to be alone." He had to smile at the little dragon and her bonded, one of the exceedingly rare glass type. He himself had never seen one before Fannith's first hatching, and the hatchling was a beautiful little thing. "I don't wish to burden others with my own concerns." He said after a minute, leaning against the same rail of rock as he watched the two. This was one of the youth that he did not know yet, and it seemed as good a time as any to learn. After all, he needed such knowledge. "I don't believe that we've been introduced yet." He said then, pushing of the rock. "I make it my personal goal to meet each and every weyrling, rider, and holdsperson here." He added by way of explanation, though by rights, he really had no need to explain anything.

She grinned even wider. "I'm Junni. This is Erith." Erith crooned again, knowing that whatever was being said had something to do about her. "Well, it doesn't matter, but talking to someone helps, at least it did to me."

K'roi returned her smile. "Well met Junni. I am K'roi, rider of bronze Gareth." He replied. The bronzerider intentionally left out his title whenever introducing himself, especially to weyrlings, no matter their age. The whole Jr. Weyrleader business tended to make them intimidated, and if anything, that's the last thing he wanted. After all, with no true Weyrleader beside for the Weyrwoman Ichi, he was the closest thing to it. That tended to create a barrier. So, many of the people he met did not even realize who they were talking to, and by the time they found out, the bronzerider had managed to drag some sort of conversation out of them so he could try to appear less menacing, as he'd been told he could at times for some reason. "Despite that, as I do know it well, I don't feel disposed to speak of this, for there are the feelings and respect of others to be thought of as well, not just merely my own."

"I understand." She gave an odd little half grin before looking out at the view. "Lovely view, isn't it?" She asked, while Erith butted her weyrling for the fun of it.

He turnd his mismatched eyes outwards then, back to the color laden sky. "It is...I guess that's one of the reason's I came up here. On the coast, the sunsets are beautiful to begin with, but there's nothing to compare with watching one on high, or from dragon-back." He mused.
