((ah, don't worry about it. Mine get plenty short at times, though I try to make them at least a decent length))
K'roi looked thoughtful for a time, mismatched eyes looking to be somewhat introspective at the moment. "I was in training as well, though the life of a heardsman is far less glamorous than that of a harper. However, that all changed when I was searched." He grinned. "I know I've said this before, but I wouldn't go back for anything."

Ruvna shook her head. 'I'm fine here.' She muttered, glancing at the two talking. 'Your all very lucky though, not to have seven Flitts.' She moved her hand at them all, who had currently settled around her, and on her.

"One flitt, a flitt egg that I ordered before I came to this Weyr at a Gather that has just arrived, three whersports, two syphirs, and a dragon. Yes, I am lucky. That is only, say, eight different creatures to care for. They are not all flitts, but they are all a handfull." Neou grinned, though a sudden thought caused her grin to fade. "Oh dear! I should be at the feast that the others are at, but I really do not want go alone. There may be music and dancing. If there is, may I ask the favor of you to join me for one?" Neou gave another hesitant grin before looking once at Tual, sleeping peacefully now. "And the herder craft does not seem so horrible. I could not imagine having that life over this one, but that is the road some chose to take, be it their own choice or not. I would not go back to the Harper crafthall, but I would like to obtain my Mastery someday. That will be hard, though being a Weyrharper constitutes part of my Journeywoman education."

"One flitt, two whersports, and Gareth. True, not as many as either of you, but a handful in themselves." K'roi said with a grin. "The herder craft isn't really all that bad. It just means that I have a severe affinity for animals. Plus what I've learned about such things has helped me more than nearly anything else in the care of all of these...loafers." He sounded genuinly amiable despite his rather joking putdown off the creatures he'd impressed. Truth be told, K'roi found joy in each and every one of them, and found that it was a pleasure to take care of them, probably a quality he gained from being raised as such. "A feast, eh? I'd be glad to join the Weyrharper in a dance." He glanced at Ruvna. "That is, if you would be so kind as to join us?" He added to her.

"I am sure she will, and I really must be going. I think the Feast started quite some time ago, and the last thing I need is to make a bad reputation of myself by being late. May I have your company to the Feast, or will you wait upon the Junior Weyrwoman?" Neou's tone was almost resentfull, though her eyes were still merry. Well, she had to be. *Short again, dinner.*

Just a bit torn, K'roi nodded her on ahead of him. "I'll be in attendance shortly. Go ahead and get to the feast, or you'll find yourself missing the choice pieces." He said then, a smile on his face. "When I get there, we'll be sure to have that dance." He added.

She smiled adn nodded at teh back of the Weyrharper. 'I would gladly come. Though I must admit, I cannot dance that well.'

K'roi grined back at her. "Much as I profess otherwise, I really can't dance either." He admitted with a wry tone to his voice. "But perhaps two bad dancers can make a decent one when combined." He suggested, then took the few steps to his chamber door backwards, watching her as he went.

She laughed and got up, making her way to the door. 'Well then, I suppose we shall indeed stun the people around, no?'
