This Haunting Feeling I've Had Before

An odd howling wind blew through the superstitious landscape of the ruins. Sending eerie shivers up the spine of anyone who approached what used to be the thick rock walls of some kind of hold or building. Even plants seemed to evade the crumbling stone, all but the thorny twisted weeds, which were few and stunted.

Fiedka had disappeared between when Felle approached the ruins. Felle could see no reason for such horror, it was just some crumbling walls. But the terror in the crystal flitts eyes was, well it was disturbing.

Felle didn't mind the rather creepy howling wind, or the chill, or the rather... haunted feeling of the place. He had the feeling he'd had that haunting feeling before. Though he could not place a finger on where, or why. It put him to mind of a song, in fact.

He had brought his gitar, as he always did for his before dawn walk. And he was now perched on top of a crumbling stone wall, his harper blues darkened with the barely morning light. On the wall next to him was a half open glow basket. He looked out over the plain, watching the sunrise and playing a rather slow, lyricless tune, the notes as haunting as his thoughts at the moment.

Satou walked slowly through the ruins, emerald green eyes scanning the rocks around her that were slowly crumbling, worn away to nothing by time.

A bronze lizard, looking to be a tad older then most flying around, flew gracefully next to her, eyes whirling yellow with fear. So very suddenly they began to whirl white and part of a building fell in front of Satou's path, nearly crushing her if it weren't for Mikon's warnning.

Felle looked up quickly at the sound of breaking and falling stone. In his surprise he hit a rather loud sour note. Cringing he hopped from the wall, picking a thorn or two from the heel of his boot before dashing to find out what hand happened. He stopped behind Satou, a look of relief on his face. At least no one was hurt.

[Ichigo/Satou/Makan]

"There I go with my clumsiness again.." Satou said, looking at the rocks which had crumbled and sighing in relief. "Thank you, Mikon." She said quietly, being a bit too stunned to even notice she wasn't alone.

Felle opened his mouth slightly then closed it again. Instead he struck a note on his gitar, hoping to get the girls attention. She hadn't noticed him yet, and he didn't want to scare her.

[Ichigo/Satou/Makan]

Satou turned around quickly, gulping and bowing to Felle as her eyes became fixed on his.
"Oh..Uh...Sorry. You didn't get hurt when that thing fell, did you?" She asked quickly, looking a bit pale and scared. She'd almost believed that Felle was a ghost.

Felle shook his head, pointing over his shoulder toward where he had been sitting. He returned the bow, noticing how pale and frightened she looked. Maybe he had scared her on accident.

[Ichigo/Satou/Makan]

"Whew, I got so scared when that thing fell." She said quietly, trying to laugh but barely having the breath to do even that. "My name's Satou.."

Felle smiled, then bit his lip. He didn't have anything to write with. He looked down at the dusty ground. That was it! He could write in the dirt. Crouching down he picked up a stick. Then he wrote in the dust, 'I'm Felle. Are you okay?'

[Ichigo/Satou/Makan]

Satou read the words and smiled. "Oh, I'm ok now. Thanks for asking." She said with a large grin "Felle? That's a very nice name." She commented. Mikon chirped in greeting, sending Satou images of Felle's flitt.

Seeing the other flitt Fiedka appeared on Felle's shoulder, his eyes still whirling with slight worry. He looked at the other firelizard with a chirrup of greeting. Felle stroked the crystal's head. He scrawled in the dirt again. 'This is Fiedka. I'm glad you're okay, gave me a bit of a scare. Thank you.'

Satou smiled, looking at the beautiful flitt that fluttered near Felle.
"She's very beautiful. This is Mikon." She said, letting her bronze land on her shoulder.

'He.' Fiedka wrote with a wide grin. The flitt on his shoulder looked at the bronze, wrapping his tail around Felle's neck possesively. Felle stood up, scuffing out his writing and picking up his gitar.

Satou smiled, looking at Felle and laughing a bit.
"Your lizard sure is protective. Do you like to write music?" She asked kindly.

Felle smiled, nodding to her question. Fiedka settled down on his shoulder, watching the other flitt.
