It seemed that being late would be something of a curse for A'den, but he'd just a few moments ago learned of the weyrling training taking place even as he went to the kitchens without even thinking. Now, he walked in, and quickly saw what today's learning would encompass. Menuath was close on his heels, the as of yet ungainly dragonet stumbling every now and again. Already large wings fluttered to help him keep his balance, but by that time, A'den had felt his dragon's slight distress, and was reaching back to steady him. ~Thankyou, A'denmine.~ The little bronze sent, eyes swirling a peaceful green. "I'll be there any time you need me." A'den replied with a rather large smile that was placed there when any thought of Menuath crossed his mind, which was so constantly that he'd ceased to smile since he'd impressed. Reaching the front table, he mumbled a short apology to the Weyrwoman Ichigo, sketching a deep bow to emphasize it.

"oh...my...it seems we're late, Choth." Seit said, walking up with his dragon to training. he gleaned what was going on and began oiling his brown. it was easy enough work, no different than applying numbweed on a wound. a very large wound. a wound that squirmed and wiggled. ah, well....the prnciple was the same. be careful, thourough, and whistle while you work. he was whistling the tune he had mumbled on the sands.
Choth was squirming as his rider oiled him. the brown was very tickilish, and his mine's touches were so soft! he noted happily that Seit had started laughing. he was making his mine laugh! even though he knew Seit laughed easily, it was still nice.
Seit was done laughing by the time he aproached the weyrwoman. he bowed very formally then and said, his deep soft voice still carrying the remnants of a laugh, "I apologize for not introducing myself before. I am Seit, and this, good lady, is Choth...and we're done."

When S'mer was finished oiling Kaith he noticed he had used very little of the oil in the pot. He remembered what the Weyrwoman had said about queens needing more than smaller dragons. Well Kaith was certainly a smaller dragon. The white yawned, his bonded's rubbing oil on his hide had made him sleepy. S'mer walked to Ichigo, his head bowed. He bobbed a bow to the Weyrwoman and looked up at her. "I am finished, Weyrwoman. Kaith is very happy, I-I had not learned this before I switched weyrs, I-I mistreated my white." There was a note of sorrow in his voice.
M'raz took the proffered oil, walking back to Inuth. The bronze sniffed the oil, snorting. It smells strange. Will it help my itches?
Yes, it should.[/i] M'raz rubbed oil on a spot that Inuth said itched. The bronze crooned happily, saying that it did help the itch. After completely covering the dragon, itches or otherwise, the Weyrling turned to the Weyrwoman. He nodded his head to her. "Inuth and I are finished, ma'am."
A young boy sprinted toward the others at the lesson, following a small dark green dragonet who was walking slowly as if waiting for her rider to catch up. R'lot was pulling on one of his boots, hopping on one foot toward the other Weyrlings. As he and his green drew up he panted, leaning over hands on his knees.
Are we late? We might be late...
Let's hope not[/i] R'lot took the oil, quickly trying to catch up. He rubbed the oil on the green until she shined and then some. His hands felt odd with the oil on them, but that dull itching he had had on the skin between his forefinger and thumb was gone. He walked back to the Weyrwoman, giving a sheepish bow. "Jinyoth is oiled." The young boy said, his green and blue eyes sparkling.#nosmileys

Gathering up a jar of the heavily scented oil, A'den went about following the actions of those around him, and thuroughly rubbing the thick stuff into Menuath's scaley bronze hide. Patches here and there had already been bothering the dragonet, and the oil did wonders for soothing the itchy spots at certain joints and under various limbs, including the thin membrane that stretched between the small dragon's wing struts.
~Ahh...that feels so much better already!~ The small bronze sent, wriggling as his bonded continued to rub with the oil until the dragonet was covered, and a generous quantity of the oil had been used. After finishing, A'den walked back up to the Weyrwoman. "I'm done with Menuath's oiling." He said, glancing back at the little bronze at his heels, now quite luminescent in his own little way.
