Ruvna blinked as her head broke the surface. She turned around and saw the fall waters behind her. She looked ahead and saw a beach of black sand, carved from the rocks. It was small and she walked towards it, waveing at the departing shipfish that brought her here. Entrances to Caves dotted the wall. Looking back, she waited for K'roi to apper, knowing that the shipfish must have ment for them to come. She gasped as a ranbow appeared from the sun and the droplets of water. Fannith's head appered, and she glanced around the cave. To small. I will be sunning myself on the cliff edge. With that the grat silver Queen withdrew her head and reared up to the cliff tops to soak in the sun's rays. {It could be exploting...heh}

Indeed, it was mere moments before K'roi's red head broke the surface of the water, taking a breath before he actually looked around to the place that the shipfish had brought them. A smile broke across the surprise on his face, and he climbed from the water, dripping wet, with tiny rivulets running down from his fingers and legs. Gareth didn't even bother to look in. If Fannith couldn't fit, there was no real way that the big bronze wished to try it, even at the chance of missing something new. So, he settled in accord atop the waterfall, latching to the rocks beneath the water's surface, and letting the fresh water flow quickly about his large body for a moment before he again snapped wide his wings, and lifted to join Fannith at her sunning perch.

"Hmm. Something new every day, eh?" Ruvna smiled again and looked at the caves. "Alright, which one first? We only have a little time, the sun is about to set." She waved her hand around the cave, lit up by the sun's last few rays. "And no glows." She shook her head, sending droplets of water from her black air onto the wet K'roi and surounding area.

Turning his head to the side as she sprayed water on him, he didn't so much as return the favor as reach around and take hold of his red hair that was certainly long enough to do so, wringing it out with a grin. "Um...let's work our way from left to right. We can go down a few of those caves before it gets too dark to see anymore." He suggested.

"Righto! Oh, and sorry about that." She smiled sadly. She crunched across the sand, reaching the first. "You first." She said, her smile turning into a grin.

"My, but you are the polite one." He said with a grin, sauntering into the cave opening, mismatched eyes twinkling with delight.

"I pride myself in that." She said as she sliped in behind him.

Leading the way, K'roi had to bend forward just a bit as the cave grew smaller the further forward they progressed. Then, it opened up again, even as the enfeebled light from behind was beggining to give out. Pausing just inside the second cave, he gazed about in wonder, and saw thousands of winking lights reflected back to him. The cave was full of large crystal formations, some clear, some colored, but most a yellowish in hue. Never the less, it was a rather magnificent sight as the waning light bounced off the gems, splashing an array of colors and refracted rainbows across the cavern.

"Wow...." She smiled as the light played over them both. She remained silent, watching the light. "Well, we don't need to head back now, do we?"

He nodded in wonder filled agreement. "At least not for a much longer time." He murmured, walking over to the facinating looking crystals, running a hand over the smooth, dusted surface.

That must have been a small dragon. "What? What do you mean by 'small dragon?' There. That depression of to your right. A dragon created that. She turned towards the depression, and walked over to it, her hand running along the smooth surface. Yes, a dragon must have made this, but when, and how?

K'roi turned a glance to her as she bespoke Fannith aloud. A large, perfect shard of the clear crystal caught his eye then, though, and he bent down to pick it up. He'd been hoping to find something of the such, because he'd wished to take some part of the cave back with him without chipping away at the natural formations and marring their faceted edges. The crystal shard was just longer than his index finger, and twice as wide. Holding it in his hand, he trod softly over to Ruvna, a question now on his face as to what the silver queen had said to her.

She smiled at his questioning look and motioned to the depression. "Fannith says that a small dragon made that. I want to know when, and how." She smiled as she saw the crystal in his hands, glad that he had not chipped it of the formations.

He blinked. "Really?" Moving over to the depression, he copied her earlier move, and ran a hand along the smooth stone. It certainly must have been a small dragon, perhaps even a white.

"Yes. At least that was what Fannith said." She grinned and sat down in the smooth depression. "Its warm. How odd." She ran a finger around the edge, thinking. How odd that her life took so many odd turns recently. She would have never thought that she would be a queen rider, or infact Jr. Weyrwoman. /The/ Jr. Weyrwoman, for once Neou was no longer a weyrling, then she would become a jr. weyrwoman. She didn't want to think about her now, it made her nervous of what would happen when her gold queen would rise. Surely Gareth would prefer being the mate of a gold. Fannith gave a mental snort. Your being a fool. Silvers rise more often than golds. I will at least rise 3 more times before she rises. And then she will only rise once every three years. (I think) Ruvna smiled and nodded to herself. You do not need to worry yourself for another three years. Then we will see. You are wonderfully right, as always. I know. Ruvna laughed out loud at Fannith's smug tone. She was glad that she had made it to the Hatching, oh so long ago. Was it only three years? It seemed like a diffrent life, which, infact, it was.
