What compelled Neou to go into the Records Room she knew not, save that she had to hide her head. Friends she had, reasons for this shame she had not. Why this sudden feeling of dread horror, and a shame-like quality? Perhaps because her mind had gotten attached to another so quickly again. Yes, that was her shame. But what was her horror? Then she recalled fully the sneering face of Korint, leering out at her. He was here. He was real. Recoiling, Neou stayed here now, wishing for company other then her creatures. They were here too, all who knows how many of them. Three whersports, two firelizards, two syphirs, and Elenath. We are not good enough for you Neoumine? }No, that is not it Elenath. I love you all with all my heart, but I do need a human I can talk to every once and a while.{ The Feast had been over by now for at least a day, and Neou had seen little of those who had been there.

Felle sat at a table, pouring over an old hide, which, undoubtably held some old ballad. Satnding and reading over his shoulder was the tall freckly figure of T'rin, Syphirs clinging to his fingers.
Felle sat fingering an air gitar to the tune of the sheet music. He was so immersed in reading the tune he did not even notice the brown rider behind him. He pursed his lips as he reached the end of the hide. But apparently the song hadn't been finished. He fingered the last few notes on his imaginary gitar, small frown lines appearing between his eyebrows.
T'rin was grinning, watching the harper play his silent gitar with mild amusement. He too had been looking for music, particularly pipe music. He was teaching himself to play. But maybe he should find an easier tune to practice.

Neou gave a sudden start as she heard the noises of others, others she had note even noticed. Seeing that Felle and T'rin were probably best not to be disturbed, she smiled once. "Hello Felle, T'rin. How do you fair?" She could see that both had been studying music, which she whole heartedly approved of. Now in an almost habit of bringing paper and writing utensil with her, Neou pushed both towards Felle, though it seemed he was very much immersed in his work. Neou had only her pipes with her at the moment. Her gitar was too precious to her to be dragged about everywhere, and though her pipes were of equal importance, they were far more portable. Smiling gently, Neou began to play a slow melody she had discovered, one with a haunting refrain and very nice tune. It was pleasant to play, though unfinished. It seemed that much of the songs here were, much to her chagrin. Songs should be finished, should not be left like this.

Junni slipped in, and was startled to see others there. Well, they might not notice her, as they were playing. Ah well, she would not disturb them. SHe notised the young Queen rider, much younger than her, for she was 20 turns, and the queen rider, 16, or so she had heard. She grined to herself, glad that she had left Fort before she was Serched. Her mind was her own, and she didn't want anyone, dragon or human, to know what she was thinking. Besides, she was to old to impress, and all her time was with the Dolphins, and a dragon would only take her away from them. She smiled at the though of Kib, ringing away at the bell.

The sudden entrance of the Jr. Weyrleader went without fanfair, as he made his way silently to the bound tombs that held the vast histories of Pern. He wanted to see just what sort of information they held about two certain species of animal that he'd become closely intimate with in the last little bit. The Shipfish, and the Clawkos. He'd always had an affinity for the harbor mammals, as they loved Gareth nearly as much as he did, but they also tried to talk to them when on various excursions, and he wished to search for any information on the interesting animals. Now, the Clawko interest, a new creature, was due to the quite small white furred clawko kit he'd just recently gotten a hold of. As far as he knew, there was nothing mentioning them - and if anyone knew of the different species inhabiting Pern, it would be K'roi - but he wished to look back as far as he could to see if any mention of them was made, even at the most obscure of times and places. At the time, the only one of his creatures accompanying him was the ever present Sakki, as the little blue flitt was perched on his shoulder, and had the best manners of any of his fare.

At the arrival of the Junior Weyrleader, Neou raised her head slightly. Somehow he could still put her to blushing, no matter what. Ah well, her heart would either stay firmly on one she could not have, or drift to another. Would Felle even Impress? Perhaps. There were rumors of other colors, strange colors, one that Neou knew not of. But they would surely show in Finnath's clutch. Lucky Ruvna. Elenath thingyed her head slightly, giving a slight trill at the arrival of one her Bonded seemed to like so much. "Hello K'roi." *Short, on phone, sorry.*

Junni looked up at the arrivel of the Jr. Weyrleader. He was coming her way. She glanced around, grabed the nearest book, and sat herself on the floor before he could even notice her. Why did she have to be so, well, non social. It wasn't as if she was afraid...well, actualy, she was. Deadly afraid. Of anyone, anytime, any place. She hated being alone, and yet she hated company more, as if she was torn between to worlds that were both full of pain. It wasn't her fault, was it? Could she have prevented it? She didn't know, she didn't want to think about it. That was why she agreed to come, wasn't it? To excape her past? Yes. A dragon...she didn't think she would Impress, and yet, it would be a chance to heal, wouldn't it? Yes, it would, if only...

He glanced around as he heard his name, and a smile lit his face when he saw Neou in the library as well, though she didn't seem to be purusing through anything at the moment. "Greetings Neou." He answered, walking lightly over, mismatched eyes roaming about the few others in the large library. And there were few, as many people found themselves uninterested in the history of Pern.

"Greetings K'roi. I am afraid I have shut myself away from humanity again, only to find there was more humanity about me then I expected." Giving a small grin, Neou offered her chair to the Junior Weyrleader, acutely aware of his presence. Her own mis-matched orbs were shining somewhat brightly, and she looked happy to see him. "Most of my greetings go unnoticed, I am afraid." Hello bronzerider. Elenath tilted her small head to look at him, watching him acutely. Her scored of creatures (or at least it seemed to be so) were gathered about Neou, adding their various greetings to Elenath's own musical one. *Short, really tired.*

Declining the offer of her chair with a slight raise of his hand, the bronzerider had to grin all the broader as he was greeted by the menagerie of creatures, returning said greetings all too willingly. Though Sakki was the only visible creature he had with him, the little blue flitt's eyes whirled as so many creatures made themselves known to her bonded, including the yet small golden queen dragonette, who could sometimes be imposing to a flitt even so young. "I'm certain that's not the truth of the matter." He said in response to her comment. "You can't help but be noticed here, Neou." He added with a quirky grin. The small, unnoticed bundle he had carried to the library with him twitched now, and began to move, and a quiet mew escaped from the bundle of enfolded cloth.

"Unfortunately." Neou wrinkled her nose in distaste. "But I would like to be more then 'the funny girl with strange eyes and too many creatures'. It seems that some judge based on appearance, or large amount of creatures." Giving one fluid shrug, Neou tried to put away all prejudices about her. It was difficult, but she would do so, for now. "You have some sort of feline, I see." She arched one delicate eyebrow at the mew, giving a small smile. "The Junior Weyrleader is not as tough as some invision him to be, I see. And I am glad." Titania leaned forward slightly from her perch upon Neou's ear to gaze at the bundle, nearly falling. Giving an indignant squawk, the firelizard balanced herself more suitably before reproaching the bundle. "Silly love. It is not that creatures fault that you are dead clumsy." The firelizard made one offended nose before dissapearing between. "Between her and Elenath, I have my hands more then full. Then I look at the rest, and start hitting my head against walls."

K'roi's brow raised at her words. "Tough? Do people really think that?" He asked, half surprised, and half joking. Another mew rose from the bundle, and the bronzerider opened it enough for the little feline within to poke his head out. Ah, one of the very reasons he was in the library to begin with. The small solid white clawko sniffed at the air, and opened eyes that were a beautiful light amethyst blue in color to look about him. "I know I'll regret getting this one." The bronzerider murmured, watching the kit. "I already have Gareth, who's a handful on his own. You know how Fei and Sythe are. Sakki's my only flitt, but I have three more on the way. Unfortunatly, she's the only one of my creatures who's cooperative." He grinned over at her.

"Well, some thinks so. I suppose it is because we have no solid Weyrleader figure, and you have to suffice for now." A grin upon her lips, Neou gave a small sigh of delight as the young white clawko cub sniffed the air. "Oh, she is so beautiful! It is a she, correct? She is adorable as well. How can you say that you will regret getting her? She seems delightful to me." Grinning, Neou lowered one finger for the creature to sniff. "None of mine are cooperative in any way. When Elenath wishes to sleep, the flitts are awake. And when the flitts wish to sleep, the whersports wish to eat. And when they finally get to sleep, the syphirs are hungry. And by the time I have fed them, Elenath wakes up and is hungry again. A long and entirely pointless cycle. I do not know what horrible luck fell upon me to Impress them all on one day, but I do know I have had little sleep since then." Neou did indeed have large circles under her eyes, and looked rather pale. "I fell asleep at dinner last night, but few noticed. Or they cared not to. The Weyrharper is not making a very good picture for herself." Still grinning, Neou fiddled with the hem of her tunic.

"Actually, its a he." The bronzerider corrected with a grin. "Just named him Ziven too. I won't really regret it I think, but I'm told I will. I have too soft a heart when it comes to beasts of this sort to stop myself from collecting them. I heard the call that a motherless litter was found, and much to Gareth's disgruntlement at having yet another little animal under my care, he flew me out." ~Hmph...~ Chuckling at the brief flash of color and annoyance in his mind, K'roi looked over to Neou. "Perhaps you could get someone who has not impressed anything to help you care for them. If they are beginning to whither at your health, then its about time for something of the sort.

"A soft heart is never anything to regret. I would find that rather an endearing quality, especially in a male, but who am I to tell?" Shrugging, Neou looked at the small white bundle. "You are good with names. Tual likes his well enough, and the name fits this fine little fellow." Grinning still, Neou looked at her assembled, who made various noises in return. "Beautiful little creature, to be sure. And you have the Queen whersport to watch over." Suddenly a flash of what could be akin to anger flashed across Neou's eyes. "I can take care of all of them myself. I am no child, needing minding to help me with anything." Strongly reminded that this man already had a Weyrmate older then her by some three Turns, and that he always seemed to treat her as a child, Neou withered inside. That was one thing she had always hated, being treated for younger then what she actually was. "They are taking no toll on my health. Lost sleep can always be caught up on, and it has never killed anyone before." Never mind illnesses. I am a healthy person.
