The set of rooms for the Junior WeyrLeader and WeyrWoman were, to say the least, larger than their single rider weyrs. A few rooms, still nothing explicitly fancy, but really, there was no need for it. A bed, again larger than those used in the single rider rooms, with comfortable blankets, and each of their individual possesions had been moved to the joined weyr. Some chairs, a small table, and a desk and chair set were a good list of the furniture, along with a few other assorted commodities. At the moment, a small basket filled with sand from the hatching grounds sat with three flitt eggs next to the fireplace, which was complete with a chimney made naturaly from the porus rock which the entire Weyr was built from. Smoke filtered easily up and out of their rooms, leaving just a hint of the rather pleasant scent of burning wood, while the rest was drawn up by the natural currents running over, and through the rock.

A slight noise suddenly began to emanate from the flitt eggs, and they began to shake, much like a miniature dragon hatching. As if sensing the impending hatchling flitts, a small blue flitt chittered as she winked from between, flying quickly over to the basket, and perching upon the side, small eyes whirling with bright colors. She sent as much as she could through pictures and quick excited flashes of color to her bonded's dragon to then forward to the bronze's rider. ~You might want to make your way to your weyr with an armload of table scraps.~ Gareth sent to K'roi in an easy tone. ~You're three new flitt eggs are hatching as I speak.~ ~Good, I was wondering when they'd hatch. Can you get a hold of Menuath, and tell A'den to come here please?~ K'roi sent back, gathering food from the kitchens and heading to the set of rooms shared with his weyrmate. He was merely glad that he had no other impending duties at the moment to keep him from impressing the new flitts. They certainly were handy little things, much more so than his two whersports were turning out to be, though they were yet considered infants. He'd decided to let A'den have one, as the boy he'd searched was yet needing something to help him out of his shell. Playing at the feast had helped tremendously, but he needed yet more easy joy to further his progress. A flitt was just the thing.

More flits kept popping out, and soon the edge of the hearth was filled with singing flits. They are hatching. You'd better go with K'roi. Ruvna looked up at her queen's words and nodded, almost flying to the kitchens with some scraps for the flits, incase K'roi wasn't there. ((BAH. Short, very short.))

Arriving to the rooms, the Jr. Weyrleader was greeted by the many flitts chirruping and singing the birth of the three hatchling flitts. Sakki came into existance just behind him, latching onto his shoulders and continuing her own singing along with the others. If this weren't over soon, it would doubtless attract every person in the hold, what with an excess of eleven flitts warbling their greetings and perching and flying about and over the basket. He moved over to the backet by the hearth even as the eggs began to crack, and the first flitt hatched, the little green female. He immediatly fed her ravenous hunger as she crawled from the backet, kreeling in search for food. Fei and Sythe had been sleeping in their small pallet on the other side of the room, but as soon as the flitts had began to sing, they'd each awoken, and now were watching the proceedings with swirling eyes. Ziven mewed from his place on the bed, already beginning to get his own personality as he mewed again in obvious annoyance at being woken from his cat-nap.

Ruvna entered, out of breath. Dumping her loard of meat by K'roi, she walked over to the bed and sat down on it, absentmindidly scraching Faila's ears. Youki was not at all happy about the noise, and being wakened. He lifted his large head for the area near the basket of others and watched the proseedings. The ten flitts that notised Ruvna sung even louder, all but the silver queen who's last clutch this was landed on her, and the bed when all the best perches were gone.

Grinning at the additional food brought by his weyrmate, the bronzerider sat back to wait for the last two eggs, the little green flitt already moving to find some warm spot on his lap after her furious meal. "Thanks love. If they decide what I have isn't enough, this will certainly do it." He said, mismatched eyes laughing.
~Menuath says that A'den is on his way.~ ~Good, and thanks for relaying the message.~
Moments later, a harried looking young lad appeared at the door, sketching a low bow to the Jr. Weyrleader and Weyrwoman. K'roi waved him in from his somewhat undignified sprawl on the floor, a smile on his face. "A'den, good to see you." "I...Menuath said you wanted me?" The future bronzerider said, eyes wide at the various array and sheer number of creatures in the room. "Yes I do. I wanted to give you one of these flitts here that are just about ready to hatch-" Even as he said that, one of the two remaining eggs decided to split at that time, and out rolled a rather large russet brown flitt that almost looked like he glinted red in the dim light. The flitt kreeled aloud, and K'roi backed up just a bit, looking back at the weyrling standing staring at the door. "Well don't just sit there boy, grab some meat! He's sharding starving!" Jumping to, A'den came further into their weyr, and took up some of the meat from the unusually large pile available, holding it to the hatchling, who ate it without a thought, begging for more even as he swallowed.

Ruvna grinned at her weyrmate and the weyrling. She could remember when she was a weyrling, though she had been Jr. Weyrwoman ever since she had Impressed, due to the fact that the previous had died. "Make him swallow, A'den, before you give him some more. Just like a little dragon." She sighed and watched, sorry to see the heat sourse in the weyr gone. She would like to keep a small fire going, it kept the place warm, though the weyr was always warm, it protected the weyr from the sudden cold gusts of wind that came all to often from the ocean at this time of year. What would it be like up north? That was right, summer, and down here, winter.

A'den did as he was told, holding off the meat until he was sure the little flitt had swallowed everything. Then he continued to feed the little beast. Almost unnoticed in the flurry of activity, the last egg shuddered open with an inaudible crack, and out came the last flitt, one of the smallest bronzes that K'roi had ever seen. It chirrped weakly, and the bronzerider gathered it up quickly, yet gently to see if he could get the small thing to eat. The little bronze suckled the proffered meat for a time before he downed it, still posessing that same appetite that all flitts had when born. The stunted creature was half the size of little Sakki, who was already a smallish blue. It was doubtfull that he'd get much larger than a large green, if he survived. Thankuly, the bronzerider had his teaching to fall back upon in this matter, as in all matters that had come up concerning his creatures.

Ruvna stiffled a yawn as she watched the two fuss over the Hatchlings. Youki gave a snort and wandered over to K'roi, and sniffed the hatchling he held in his hands. His eyes went a tinge of green before he sauntered over to Fei and sat protectivly next to her, yet outside the basket which he deemed as a save place for Sythe to be with Fei. Faila clambered over to Ziven, mewing her displeasure with what she deemed as inpolite behavior. She clotted him gently with her paw on his head, before curling beside him, purring loudly.

K'roi watched Youki, scooting back a bit so he could lean against the edge of the hearth and be able to see everyone, cradling the stunted bronze to him. Fei gave Youki a sidelong look, snorting lightly as he sidled up next to the basket she shared with Sythe, the brown whersport's crest still rising slightly any time the bronze came around him or Fei. Ziven gave an easy bat in return for the, what he considered to be unjust one that he'd recieved. He had already been on his way back to sleep too, so she'd woken him again, and his violet eyes peered down at her white form next to him. His overly long tail lashed back and forth once or twice before he settled down to continue his nap.
A'den was overjoyed at the small bursts of color which the little russet brown flitt was already sending him. They truly were like small dragons, as he'd heard.

Youki gave a snort as he saw the raised crest on the brown. It didn't matter him, not now. Ruvna smiled and slid of the bed and sat by him, watching his two and sometimes looking at A'den. "Your welcome to borrow any of my Queens if you need to send messages." It was common knowledge that Queens where much better at taking messages, though Ruvna's might take longer, since she had given them all a free rage. She loved not having to feed them, and Fannith told her that they enjoyed their freedom, though Youki followed Fannith everywhere, like he was her escort, if he wasn't gaurding Fei.

K'roi smiled over at her as she sat next to him. "Thanks love, but I normally let Sakki handle my messages. She's actually gotten quite good at it." At mention of her name, the little blue flitt, who'd momentarily faded into the background with the excitement, crooned from her perch on the bronzerider's shoulder.
A'den by this time had begun to feel a bit out of place with the two Jr. Weyrleaders, and stood, the russet brown flitt clinging to his shirt from the crook of his crossed arms. "Thank you...um, sir." He said, inclining his head forward. "I'm going to go and find a bed for this little one, and leave the two of you alone." Then, so saying, he backed out of the room, and was gone.

She grinned, somewhat startled by the exit of A'den. "Interesting fellow, eh?" She leaned her head on his shoulders, watching all the accumulated critters around. "We seem to be well indowed with company, love." She smiled again, and closed her eyes sleepily, for the last few days had held many exciting things for her.

He glanced down at her with an easy smile. "Yes, that we do dear heart." He agreed in a lower voice. All of their various creatures gave nothing but their affection for the two weyrmates, it was to be sure. The cool colors constantly in his mind was steady evidence of that. The newly hatched green flitt had taken up position in his lap, and he yet held the small bronze, each sleeping off their hatching exhaustion. He needed to find names for them both. ...Weiss, for the little bronze, and Onico for the green. The names seemed to fit, and K'roi shifted slightly againt the rough stone of the hearth, finding a spot a bit smoother to continue to lean against.

Seeing that the hatchlings were sellping, the rest of Ruvna's fair soon followed suit, and the contented colors of them and Fannith swirled around in her mind as she yawned. 'Seems to me that they want me to sleep. Oh, silly things, you make me tired, you know that?" Her voice was tired, teasing, and gental all at the same time.
