The brilliant sands winked up at both ride and dragon, and they had a few hours of free time to do with what they wanted. So, a dip in the warm waters of the southern sea sounded like a rather fantastic idea. Backwinging as they drew near, Gareth's wing blasts sent sand swirling up, and he settled no lighter than a feather to the glistening sand. K'roi vaulted from the bonze's back, and moved to his side to remove the riding saddle that was less a saddle and more a harness. Once it was off, Gareth made for the salty waters. K'roi was not too far behind him, strippig his grey riding leathers and shirt until he wore nothing but the thinner breeches under them, heavy wher hide boots set next to the rather untidy pile of clothing. He walked at a more sedated pace to the rolling waves, and waded out a bit before diving into the next wave that broke over his head.

Fannith appered above the sky, silver hide glinting in the sun. Gareth is here. And so is K'roi. Ah. Fannith dumped her rider in the sands, laughing mentaly before joining Gareth.
Ruvna sighed and shook her head, leaning against a tree, staring at her bare feet. Her boots and jacket were cast of, though resting next to her. She sighed. Why was Fannith so intent on Gareth? She was afraid that K'roi would think she was stalking her.

Breaking back to the surface, the rather sudden and unexpected sight of the silver queen made K'roi gasp, taking in a mouthful of salty water. ~It is merely Finnath.~ Gareth sent, laughter rolling from his thoughts as he paddled over next to his rider, lowering a wing so the red haired man could hold on and catch his breath again. ~It would be helpful if you would be so kind as to tell me someone else is here next time.~ K'roi grumbled, taking a few deep breaths before turning his mismatched gaze back to the shore line. The form of Ruvna was just barely visible against the backdrop of various greenery. Because of his nonexistant fear of the water, the red head was quite far out, strong strokes having taken him there in the short time between his entry and Finnath's sudden appearance.

She blinked as she saw the red hair of K'roi far out in the water. Why did Fannith take her here to swim, why not somewere else? Because you didn't say where to go. I came here. Ruvna rolled her eyes and shook her head as she waded into the waters, her fair laying on the sand, sleeping.

A smile crossed his face as he saw her advancing into the water, and he rose a hand to wave her on out. Gareth suddenly sent a joyous burst of color to him, filled with laughter. "What is it?" K'roi asked, turning to eye his bronze. ~The shipfish are here.~ Gareth answered, and it was mere moments before a long, rubbery snout poked out of the water not too far from him, and the grinning face of one of the shipfish sqee'ed a greeting before ducking below the surface again.

She waved back, and dove into the water, but came up again as a fin filled her hand and pulled her towards K'roi. She lauaghed as she reached him, watching the shipfish play.
Fannith was happy, the shipfish and Gareth completing her day.

Laughing as she was pulled to a stop beside him, Gareth then dove to swim over to Finnath, spouting water when he next surfaced. The shipfish swam about both the riders and dragons, bumping playfuly into K'roi's back, and coming up suddenly to leap over the both of them.

Fannith shook herself of the water that Gareth had so willingly spashed over her. She stopped and watched as the shipfish jumped over her and Gareth.
Ruvna treaded water, watcing the Shipfish. 'If I wasn't a Jr. Weyrwoman, I certanly would have wanted to be a dolphiner.' She mused gently to herself.

K'roi nodded his agreement. "They're fully as intelligent as the dragons... and certainly have enough character of their own." He added, almost as an afterthought. ~They're better swimmers, but we can fly.~ Gareth sent with just a tad amount of smugness to his voice. "They can just about fly..." He answered aloud, watching as yet another shipfish lept from the water with acrobatic ease.

'Hmm. Wouldn't the world be more interesting if they could? Well, dragons fly, shipfish swim. I guess it's fine that way.'

The bronzerider again nodded his agreement. Taking a deep breath, he then ducked under, swimming downwards and opening his mismatched eyes to watch the blurry shapes flashing past. Ruvna was just above him, and a rather mischevious thought came to mind. ~I wouldn't.~ ~Oh shush.~ And he reached up to take hold of her foot, giving a gentle jerk that nevertheless took her under the surface.

She gasped as she was yanked under, and almost laughed as she knew who it was she waved to him under the water and smiled.

He waved back, then kicked upwards to the surface to take a breath of air, and laugh. He looked back down through the clear water at her, grinning.

((Muhahahaha! Switched computers)) She swam back up to the surface and gulped in the much needed air. 'What a lovely suprise that was. It makes one feel alive. Well, I hope it would.'

((special ^^)) He chuckled at her words. "Nothing like drowning to make on feel alive, is that it?" He joked, grinning as he executed a few exemplary backstrokes simply for the joy of it, and the ease with which he moved through the salty water.
