|Gold| The Queens of the Weyr. They are the largest of all Dragons in the Weyr. Usually flown by Bronzes and rarely browns, they clutch 20-30 Eggs. Their clutches usually have both a Gold and Silver dragon. They impress females and are female. They have golden hides and their egg shell is gold. They are one of the few dragons who's color can be 100% determind from looking at the egg shell. They cannot chew fire stone. Their riders usually become Weyrwoman or Jr. Weyrwoman.
|Bronze| The highest "ranking" males dragons. They are almost the same size as Queen and have bronze hides. They usually fly Golds and golds alone. They impress males ONLY, never any females. They chew fire stone. They themself are always male.
|Silver| They are ranked Queens and can both clutch and chew fire stone. Their clutches are small, usually only 15 eggs with one Queen{Gold or Silver}. They are fast and smaller then bronzes but bigger then browns. Bronzes and Browns usually fly them and maybe a very fast blue{but blues flying them is extremly rare}. Their hides are silver, shiney and going from very pale to almost black. Their riders are usually Jr. Weyrwoman.
||Black|| Black dragons are males, and always Impress males. About the size of a bronze or a large brown, they are always a dark, pure black. Then tend to Impress the emphatic Harper type male, the broody ones who have a love of music and a good heart, but are somewhat quiet. They will fly any color but reds, as they seem to abhor them.
|Brown| They are larger then blues and greens but smaller then Bronze. They have brown hides ranging in shade and color. They only impress to males and are always male themself. They fly for greens and sometimes even a gold. They chew fire stone.
|Purple| Purple are generally dark shades, almost black, and sometimes feature large light-colored splotches here and there. exactly what creates those lighter splotches is unknown, but older purples are more likely to have them than young ones. They are usually female, though male purples are not unheard of, and they impress to their own gender. females cannot chew firestone and still clutch, but their flaming abailites are impressive, so their niches tend to be found. they are a bit smaller than your average brown, but thus have both endurance and manueverability. males will chase greens mostly, but a few of the larger dare to try for smaller silvers.
|Blue| They are just larger then greens and smaller then bronzes with blue hides. Their hide can range from midnight blue to a very pale blue. They only fly for greens and are always male. They can impress males and sometimes they'll impress a female. They chew fire stone and are very fast.
|Green| They are the smallest dragon in the Weyr, next to the whites, and impress any gender they want, though they are always female. Even though they are female, it is perferred they don't clutch. They can only clutch if they don't chew fire stone but most chew fire stone to avoid an over population of dragons. They are very fast.
|Reds|Reds are small, vicious dragons, not exceeding a green. They tend to be excellent Threadfighters, voriously searing the stuff to char. On the ground however, they seem to be in a state of permeanantly proddy, always snappish and contrary. Still, they are excellent in the air. Reds are females, and always Impress females. They tend to Impress strong willed females, though those that are meant for greens
||Glass|| Glass dragons are genderless when they hatch, and take on the gender of their rider. They can range from the size of a white, to the size of a brown. Their hide is a sort of translucent, silvery color. As they grow, their hide may take on a pink, purple, blue, or green tint. Glasses may or may not clutch, if they do, the clutch is 4-10 eggs. Glass dragons do not come from gold clutchs, nor do they clutch golds. Glass dragons are the rarest type of dragon, and are doubted to even exist. They, if any are hatched, normaly Impress people who do not show most emotions on the outside. ~NOTE:~ The glass dragon was created by Digigirl28(On Neopets.com),
|White| The smallest of all dragons. They don't really seem to have a gender and have a 0% interest in mating. They are small and usually die before making it out of their shells. If they do live out of hatching, they can be flown but it takes alot of practice and good care from their rider. They can impress any gender but usually impress younger canidates.
