Black
Blacks are a bit bigger than blues, but definately smaller than browns. Their hides vary from an almost grey color to as black as pitch, sometimes carrying tints to their hides. They are female and usually impress likewisem but impressing males are not unheard of. they are more valueable fighters than clutch-layers, so they usually chew stone and are rendered sterile. They tend to be spiteful yet-good hearted, and impress those like them

Okay then! ^_^
Amber.
Ambers are a bit bigger than whites, but grow no larger than an average green. Their hides vary from a translusent sap colored amber to a dark wheat color. They are male and Impress usually only male, but female is not unheard of. They are quick witted and can be rather smart alecky, but are all the same good natured and Impress cheery and optimistic Candidates.

Reds-
Reds are small, vicious dragons, not exceeding a green. They tend to be excellent Threadfighters, voriously searing the stuff to char. On the ground however, they seem to be in a state of permeanantly proddy, always snappish and contrary. Still, they are excellent in the air. Reds are females, and always Impress females. They tend to Impress strong willed females, though those that are meant for greens/

((What about crystal dragons? Can be either gender, if female, these dragons clutch one egg, another crystal. May appear rarely in a golds clutch. These dragons, if male, are about the size of browns, though they have more patience then them. Sometimes catch queens, though bronzes can fly faster then them))

oooh! I have one!
Purple
Purple are generally dark shades, almost black, and sometimes feature large light-colored splotches here and there. exactly what creates those lighter splotches is unknown, but older purples are more likely to have them than young ones. They are usually female, though male purples are not unheard of, and they impress to their own gender. females cannot chew firestone and still clutch, but their flaming abailites are impressive, so their niches tend to be found. they are a bit smaller than your average brown, but thus have both endurance and manueverability. males will chase greens mostly, but a few of the larger dare to try for smaller silvers.

Flames (0_0 weird name indeed)
Flames are in between bronze and brown. They been known to fly silvers and the odd queen now and then, Some Flames are known to take no interest what so ever to even bother trying to fly a female dragon. Flames colors range to meekest of yellow to the darkest of reds and some of the larger one can be blue tinted. They are only known to impress males but prehaps they could impress a female if they wish.

Purples are fine. I have never seen a Weyr without some form of purple dragon, and flames are... Must think for a second.
